Are some of the Vandy schools more difficult to get into than others? I haven't seen any data showing the admission stats for the different schools. I am particularly interested in the information for Peabody.

ooooooo, another person heard that peabody is the key to getting into vandy!

yes, the statistics vary at each school, but not the context really. peabody has the lowest numbers, and you also probably won’t get in without a boatload of community service hours and other weird things that apply to that school. blair is also higher, but you won’t get in there without musical interviews, etc…

pretty simple really, there is no such thing as a free lunch.

Whoistebow, you read me wrong. Not looking for an easy way into Vandy, looking for a good undergraduate education program for my D and trying to figure out whether she has the stats for Peabody. I can’t find anything on Vandy’s website that talks specifically about Peabody’s admissions stats and requirements.

i saw a link on here but i cant find it! it was from 3 years ago and peabody did hve around a 10%ish higher admit rate, i can remeber the exact number, and it was from a few years ago.

Yes, admissions rates do vary by school. Blair is highest, followed by Engineering, then Peabody, and A&S is the lowest by a considerable margin.

admittance rate for engineering is around 30% but it does not mean that its easy to get in
