Does the SAT II in Biology prepare you for AP Bio?

I am planning to take AP Biology next year and am planning to take the Bio SAT II in November and I am currently undergoing a tough preparation program (I am studying about 2 hours a day and will continue this for the next 3 or 4 months maye even 5 months). Will I be prepared for AP Biology if I am preparing for the Biology SAT II? Also, is it possible to even self study for this SAT II if I never took AP Biology and only took Honors Biology freshman year?

To answer your first question, yes. Studying that amount will give you a significant head start in your AP Biology class, and for the AP exam. Will it be enough to supplement less studying? Maybe, maybe not, that really depends on the rigor of your AP Class and of the program you are going through right now. Self studying the SAT II is certainly possible, it really isn’t that difficult, and requires generally basic AP Biology knowledge. If you sit yourself down and seriously commit to learning the stuff over the course of 3 or 4 months, you can easily pull off a 780+

Thanks!! I feel a lot better about my preparation plan now.
