Hi,
I have been really trying to debate this for awhile. I have a 1500 M+CR or a 2250 in one sitting and I have a 1510 M+CR or a 2290 superscored. My question really is that I know I could have definitely gotten a 2280 in one sitting and a 2310 superscored so would this change have really been the final push to get me into a top school? The reason I am asking this is because I have been practically pounding my head on the wall because I know I could easily gotten 30 points higher on the one sitting score and 20 points higher on the superscore if I had answered one more question right on the CR question and I am curious whether it could have been a big benefit in the end for me if I got it. Thanks for any input.

You can take off your helmet (I know you are smart). You know it was one question, the colleges know it was one question. In the global scheme of your whole college application and with your scores it wouldn't change a thing.

agree with J'adoube. if you've got a 1510/2290, you're good everywhere. only reason i can think of you wanting to retake would be if you're chasing perfect score (which is once again, an exercise in futility most of the time)

20-30 points won't be the deciding point on your application. If you were to say 2250 vs. 2350, then yes, the extra 100 points would definitely help your application. But you're talking about a small difference in scores. Don't worry about it.
