Does the Sophomore PSAT mean anything?

<p>If you go to the Summer Program Forum here at CC you will find many good summer programs for high school students. Many of them will ask for your standardized test scores which PSAT is an acceptable one. For most sophomores and even some juniors PSAT is the only scores that they have at the time they submit their summer programs application. In that regard sophomore PSAT does mean something.</p>

<p>It doesn't even predict how you'll do on your junior psat or SAT.</p>

<p>Do the sophmore PSAT well if you plan to get over 2200! I got a 2200 on the sat and a 204 on the psat. So I recieved my nmsqt letter of commendation today. If I had studied I would have gone on to be a semifinalist then been denied the scholarship because I'm not a citizen :(.
Saying they don't matter is misleading.</p>
