I got chosen to get interviewed for a b-school I am applying for. 490 kids applied and 150 were chosen to get interviewed. Well I was talking to my friend the other day and he was like he heard that they were going to accept 150 without an interview and 150 students with an interview.
I hope its true since I did get interviewed but why would the school go through with the trouble of interviewing us..when they know we are going to get accepted? It doesn't make sense...but when I did get interviewed I asked the interview about who they interviewed and what not. He said that it was experiment to see if they "learn more about the applicant" and that last year they interviewed 30 students and next year they might interview all applicants..

I just want to know what you all think...I'm curious.
