I heard somewhere that Michigan is really interested in admitting applicants that wil contribute to the diversity of their campus. Do you think i could be counted in this category if i have dual citizenship in the U.S. and Israel?

I doubt you'll win diversity "points" for your dual citizenship. It makes you a little interesting, but maybe not much more so than an international or our out-of-state student, of which they have oodles.

International students do not fall under the heading of "diversity". Not from a legal standpoint anyway. And diversity is not what universities seek. Underrepresented Minorities are what universities want. Now if you applied to BYU, you would be considered diverse! LOL

It's up to you to sell this point. Diversity isn't just about statistics (such as how many people that seem similar to you are already admitted or on campus) but about what YOU tell readers YOU will bring to campus. One of the essays deals with diversity, and you can talk about this there.
