I know ivy leagues and top tier colleges are looking for people who stand out as well as great academics. My academics are amazing, but I was wondering if this made me stand out. I've listed all my ECs, so you can see if I stand out. I'm a junior.

I'm on a dance team and I have preformed in 7 countries and 4 states.

I'm on a debate team and I was the team leader and won many awards.

I was on JV Tennis for 2 years and Varsity for 1 year.

No you’re a conformist pig go back to guzzling your slop you pig. You’re so conformist you’re not even a sheep. At least sheep are used in angsty poetry. You’re so un-notable and un-standing out you’re like Piglet.

People even like Eeeyore more than Piglet. So there’s your answer. TTFN.

These guys are being somewhat sore, but I agree with their main message which is that you shouldn’t be doing any activity just for college, and with saying “Ivies” and not a specific college that “fits” you, for example a specific dance or debate program, nonetheless these are impressive feats but there’s so much more than a quick formula to standing out in the college process, do what you enjoy and go to the college that WANTS people like you, NOT the college that makes you conform to THEM.
