<p>I got this in an email today:</p>

<p>The admissions office at Colby College has mailed you an invitation to a special gathering which will be held on Thursday, April 10, at the home of current Colby Parents, _____ and ______ _____ P'10. Please watch for your invitation to arrive in the mail. </p>

<p>We hope that you and your family will be able to join Steve Thomas, Director of Admissions, and our hosts! </p>

<p>I blanked out the names of the people who are hosting it, but does anyone think this means I got in (or not anything at all...)??</p>

<p>My son was admitted ED, and also got an invite like you describe
so I would think it is a good sign

<p>We got the same email and then an invite in the mail today. But no acceptance yet . . . it seems that they wouldn't invite all of the people who applied in our area but . . .? The worst part is that our d is on a school trip that makes it impossible for her to attend. Should we go in her stead?</p>
