<p>I just got this email today. Does this mean I was accepted?</p>

<p>Haha, I am probably being overanalytic with this, but I just want to know so much! Good luck to all of you.</p>

<p>P.S.- Do you think Duke has finished making all their decisions, or do you think they are still working on them?</p>

<p>Yeah, it doesn't mean anything. Everyone submits this information so they are considered for FA if they are accepted.</p>

<p>I didn't get that email yet, even though my forms are definitely late (I'm still waiting for the accountant to be finished).</p>

<p>I got a likely letter from another college about 10 days after that kind of an email....so, you never know. </p>

<p>i don't know if my D received that email( i don't have her password) but i went on the site and she has new financial items on the checklist!! ( this morning the financial page had only 1 item)</p>

<p>It didn't get that e-mail but my Financial Aid page got updated with the items I had sent.</p>

<p>i got this email too and this was the first thing i noticed. sight? from duke? really?</p>

<p>Got one the same day I received one of the 350 likely letters. If you didn't get a LL, its still a very good sign because at this point financial aid offices are one really looking into the candidates that admissions has identified as ones with good chances of admission. They simply don't have enough resources to completely analyze everyone's FA app. Take a look at the Dartmouth board for more info on this. </p>

<p>Hate to burst your bubble folks, but the finaid "update" on VIP could all be electronic, unlike Dartmouth which was asking for specific forms. </p>

<p>What does VIP show? That fafsa and Profile and have been filed? Yup, and those are both electronic files; Duke could easily upload thousands at one time in one push of a button. And, don't forget that Duke has a late filing deadline (relative to other colleges). Thus, its possible that they just completed the electronic upload so they wouldn't have to do it numerous times.</p>

<p>my financial aid list is still not updated. i still only see the key.</p>

<p>do you think this has anything to do with acceptance/denial? if it does this is a depressing sign...i hope it means that they just haven't processed some of the things i have sent in. i'm panicking!</p>

<p>Don't look too much into it Mcknells...anyone else have it/not have it? Mcknells, did you get the email they sent? If you got the email I think you would be fine, man!</p>
