Does this mean I'm already accepted to NYU?

<p>I haven't received any emails or regular mails from NYU, but I tried the trick yesterday.</p>

<p>I tried to log in with the NetID, and the system did generate an NetID for me, I was able to send emails from my XXX(name initial)###(digits)@nyu.edu. account, does this mean I'm already in??</p>

<p>So anxious, thank you in advance!!</p>

<p>The best advice I can give you is to call the school.</p>

<p>Yeah, you should call Admissions. You having the ability to log into NYUHome might just be a technical glitch (which is a very common occurrence at NYU).</p>

<p>I was just about to call the admissions when I got a call from UPS telling me I have a package from NYU, then it’s the acceptance package. So hilarious!</p>

<p>Now it is time to sign up for housing (online) and the orientation (online).</p>

<p>I had an even weirder situation when I was applying for law schools, where the Dean of Georgetown’s law school personally emailed me and congratulated me on my acceptance a WEEK before I got any packet. I was so confused that I didn’t even respond until I had actually gotten the packet!</p>

<p>nyu<em>times</em>two: Maybe that Dean couldn’t wait to let you know the news, it happened to me too when I got the accepted email from a admissions director from Tulane.</p>

<p>newflyer - The sign up for orientation is online. There are different 3 day sessions you can choose from. My son has yet to receive anything about orientation in the mail. It was all done on line. Housing sign up is also online. </p>

<p>Uh … I just assumed you are in CAS. If you are in another school at NYU, just look around the website.</p>
