Hey all i had some questions,
Im looking over my TAG right now, and I attended UCSC for a quarter so I have its grades listed. What I wanted to know is if those credits will count towards IGETC? They are humanities courses that I need. Otherwise, I will just have to take remaining IGETC's during the spring..

Also, If i attended a UC for a quarter and attended a CC after that, I can still use the IGETC right?

I’ve been in a similar situation, I attended UCSB for one quarter and then transferred to a CC. Using ASSIST, I figured out that the courses I took at UCSB do in fact transfer over to my CC, which in turn should transfer to wherever you decide to attend after CC. To be sure, you could always make an appointment with a counselor and discuss your units.

Quarter/semester unit conversion issues may present. A UC will accept all units from another UC, but that won’t necessarily help you with IGETC. It may end up being easier for you to satisfy the GE requirements of your target UCs directly, rather than doing IGETC.

In other words, check with a counselor. In fact, check with several. They’re frequently wrong. Even if they say you can do IGETC, I’d try to choose IGETC courses that also satisfy the UC’s GE requirements to be doubly safe.
