Does undergrad school matter regarding to attending law school?

Hi! I am a 2018er freshman who is admitted by UC Berkeley,Carnegie Mellon and Tufts, but haven't decided which one to go yet. Does any of the three colleges give me more advantages to applying for law school? I've head that it is hard to get a high GPA at Berkeley. Is that true? I can see the law school admission rate of the three college's graduates but cannot know exactly how many students went to which law schools so it is hard to compare.
Thanks!

Law schools don’t care where you went to undergrad, just about your GPA. I don’t know if different colleges are harder to get a high GPA in, but if so you should definitely consider it in choosing.

I know 2 friends who went to MIT for undergrad.
One was an architecture major at MIT, got his M.Arch from Syracuse U… but then the housing market collapsed and he was laid off, so he got his J.D. from NEU.
The other got his B.Sci in biology, was preparing to go to med school, then decided, “I want to be a public defender” and went to NEU for his J.D.

Their undergrad educations were not oriented to pre-law… but they got into law school just fine.
