I was admitted EA and was wondering if they require a mid year report from my high school.
If you were already admitted, it is probably not as important, but I would check anyways just to be on the safe side. You most definitely need to send in a final transcript once your final grades for your last semester of high school have been posted.
Bump. Is there any official directions for sending mid-year report or not after being admitted?
@AspiringSenior I’m pretty sure you have to print it off from the common app and give it to your counselor. That should take care of it for all schools you applied to using the common app.
My son’s school sends mid-year reports to every college on Naviance with an ‘accepted’ , deferred or applying status. Hopefully it is an automatic function at your high school as well.
They will need the final transcript anyway. Mid year report is not important for admitted students.
S has been accepted to U-Mich. I was checking the website last night and found something that said IF your schedule of classes has changed (you dropped, added, changed a course) from the original schedule you submitted on/with your application, then you have to send an updated schedule/transcript. (edited for more info) Otherwise, you send a final report only.
^ That is always the case for most schools. If anyone changed their senior schedule after submitting application, they need to contact the admission office.
My D’s GPA went from 3.887 to 3.9 and her class rank also went up from 17 to 15. She hasn’t been accepted yet–will the mid year report make any difference as to merit money she might be awarded?
