I applied to the Thornton School of Music and performed an on-campus audition the last weekend in January. I'm a flute and piano player, but I auditioned on flute. Music has always been my life and the Music Industry (specifically Music Supervision) has always fascinated me. I auditioned for their Music Industry, B.M. I feel like my audition went pretty well, and Gary Woodward and Jim Walker said they liked seeing a flute player interested in Music Industry. Is this a good sign?

I'm an all-state member, I have been involved in everything music at school. I have played in the pit for our school productions of Once Upon a Mattress and Anything Goes and I'm playing for Pirates of Penzance this spring. I'm the pianist for jazz band. Our marching band is a very competitive one and placed 6th in the state. I have studied flute privately for 7 years and piano for 12. Not only do I stay involved with music, but I have managed to keep a 3.95 UW GPA and a 4.2 W GPA.

Are they going to look at and consider everything else?
