Does Wellesley look at senior grades 1st marking period if you apply Early Decision?

<p>I have just been told by my English teacher that I might potentially fail English 12 Honors for the first marking period because I received a failing grade on one of the tests (It was 2 pages and I didn't complete the back side of the test because I did not realize there was a back. Therefore the highest grade I could have received was a 50%), and there are only about 4 grades going into the grade book for the entire marking period, which ends next week. So there is absolutely no way I can bring it up at this point for the first marking period.</p>

<p>I'm extremely scared because this one screw-up could potentially ruin all of my chances of admission to Wellesley. If they only require mid-year report, I could still bring it up in the second marking period. Does anyone who applied in the past know if Wellesley requires the first marking period to be submitted for ED applicants?</p>

<p>wellesley does require ED students to send in 1st quarter grades. Perhaps you can write out a written explanation regarding your current circumstances?</p>

<p>Are you sure they require them? I don’t see anywhere on their website or the common app that they do for ED applicants.</p>
