Does Yale admissions appreciate humor or non-serious extracurricular activities on the application?

For example, on my common application 'resume' (under additional info), I posted that I was the president of the Jonas Brothers Fan Club for the entire state for two years. Would Yale or any other school look down upon this? Or should I keep it because it was an interest of mine at one time of my life and it shows leadership?

*Sorry I misspelled the title of this thread, accident -.-

depends on what you did with that position and how much time you spent on it.

Adcoms are adults. They are incredilby savvy about what hs kids are like, what they can accomplish and where they fall down. Do you think Yale’s adcoms will find it amusing that you put down NJ fan club? Or, just decide you are one silly kid wasting a line. It’s a college app, not facebook.
Personally, I think it’s one silly poster, trolling.

It could potentially hurt you more than it could help you. Chances are none of the adcoms like the Jonas Brothers enough to consider it important. When the Common app only gives you a few lines to put ECs, you really should think carefully about what you write
