Does Yale typically request first quarter grades for EA?

Hi all! I just got my first quarter grades today and they’re not that great (I have a B in both AP Calc BC and AP Spanish). I was fully intending on applying to Yale EA and have all my supplements written, but I’m worried about how my transcript will be interpreted.

My school calculates grades based on a semester schedule but students and parents get sent quarter reports as a sort of progress report. I talked to my college counselor and he said that they only send first quarter senior grades if schools request them, so I guess my question is: does Yale typically request these grades? I know that I can bring them up by the end of the semester, so would it just be wiser for me to apply RD? I ask because I know there are so many phenomenal students that apply SCEA and I don’t really think I have a chance with the grades I have currently.

Yale only expects a mid-year report if you are on a semester system. S’s HS does the same thing with interim reports with official grades on a semester system. As far as I am aware, his HS only sent the official mid year and final reports and he was admitted SCEA.
