<p>I want to write my commonapp essay on how moving from one country to another affected my life. I was wondering, is it too broad a topic? I plan to mainly focus on how it gave me a new viewpoint and taught me to accept change. So I basically plan to write a little about what "moving" actually means to me in the beginning and then write a couple of paragraphs on the different ways in which moving has impacted my life. So do I have to start the essay with a single description of a memorable event or is it ok to start with what moving means to me and then pepper the essay with one example for each "effect" that experience has had on me? Like for each "effect" I will give a short one sentence example.</p>
