@ Monsieur fif :It’s good to hear that the tannins are beginning to break in your software.

By next summer, do you mean the next summer after this month…or the next summer that comes after the summer that comes up prochainement? Either way, damn the EC’s anti-monopoly rules, we shouldn’t miss that opportunity to trade code, share data and fix prices.

@ classicalmama: Google “Bunkel” and “WBTY” – with Bunkel being the software of choice of eventual HYPSM admittees.

i googled them both but can’t find anything about any of them. From what I’ve got so far Bunkel is related to some sports index Dunkel and WBTY is a radio station. can someone explain?

I blot those posts out of my mind. I like the one person’s idea for child validation software. That product would fly off the cyber-shelves. Having missed out on that, I’ve decided what I really should do to make serious scratch is start pitching my new e-Book “How You, Too, Can Have Too Much Time On Your Hands.”

yeah i still have no idea what Bunkel is. It does sound like some sort of school ranking system or student evaluation program? D’yer you seem to know a lot about it can you tell me more?

And what is WBTY?

D’yer, sell it on Amazon in a package with mine: Post and Procrastinate: How One Teacher Avoided Grading Freshman Essays and Won. (Won…what? What did I win?! I’ll never get this #$%^&*(! book finished!)

Ranking is for the birds, ac. It’s about scoring – and subscoring – and buying a subscription to the software so I can get my commission as an authorized Bunkel distributor (since Amway sales are kind of flat). Once you come up with your customized scores, you can rank if you wish. The best part about Bunkel is that affirms what people already believe. If status and prestige rule the roost…you assign the highest Bunkel weights to those categories and the outcomes will dovetail with your perceptions. If Ivy admits mean everything to you, set the sliders for the “Ivy Wyze” criteria all the way to the right, and you’ll get the schools you were hoping you’d get. There’s no way to overstate what people will pay to hear someone else parrot what they want to hear. The Bunkel price list reflects that philosophy.

Oh…I see. You’re the OP, acdunk543. My hat’s off to you. I don’t think I ever got a Bunkel thread all the way to 75 sincere replies. Mad props from me and everyone at Bunkel Software to you.

I’m glad I dropped in on this thread, because I totally forgot that my Bunkel Bundle Opinion Engine® subscription is going to expire soon!

SevenDaughter owes all her successes and failures to the Bunkel Software crew…
