<p>Check with your state to see if they have "One-stop Absentee voting". I'm not sure where you live or if you'll be back home anytime soon, but some states have one last chance to register and vote all at once during Early Voting.</p>

<p>yeah, that's on 26 Oct. but I won't be back home before that. and i'd have to be there in person...oh well. I missed 1 vote, but I'll have many more through out the rest of my life...:)</p>

<p>I knew my sons registered to vote when they registered for selective service. My USAFA cadets are excited to be voting (absentee) for the first time. Now, I just hope I trained them up correctly and they'll know to vote for the candidates of MY choice. ;)</p>

<p>Many years ago, I voted while in labor and had the baby in the lobby of the hospital about an hour after casting my vote. A little embarrassing, but hey, I did my civic duty.</p>

I keep telling everyone around me to vote. I care more about them voting than who they vote for. Now, I am absolutely passionate about who I will vote for but the process is more important than any candidate will ever be.<br>
So, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE!</p>

<p>Yeah I remember voting for Reagan in 1980. Broke my dad's heart coming from Butler and Pittsburgh he was always a union guy. It always made for good conversations though. We always respected each others reasons and opinions. Different time. That said no matter the choice exercise the privilege because a lot of folks payed a very high price for you to have that right.</p>
