Don't give up!

I just found out that I got into NYU for next fall as a transfer student! It was my dream to get in and I had all of the odds against me. Basically I talked to countless people about getting in and everyone said that my scores were a little below the 25th percentile, but I didn't let that get to me. I decided to apply and put alot of work into my essays, as well as keep my grades up (I ended up with a 3.55 this semester with a very challenging course load). Anyways, I guess my essays were what got me and impressed the application committee. So just to let everyone know that if you really want something don't ever give up on it! Just because your scores dont match doesn't mean you wont get in! GOOD LUCK :-D

If your going to NYU in the fall I'll see you there!

Thanks for the inspiring story! Never know what to expect up there.

Just a quick tip-- if you're going to survive at NYU, you're going to have to learn when to use the different spellings of your/you're, and that "a lot" is two words, not one. I'm not trying to nitpick, these are extremely common mistakes which often go unnoticed in high schools. Just thought I'd give a you/anyone reading this a heads up.

jeez, that wasn't very nice

Congrats! GOOD LUCK
