I am a sophomore.
There is one school that I have had my heart set on for so long, and that is NYU. (College of Arts and Sciences)

I screwed up my freshman year MAJORLY, but am picking myself back up slowly but surely.

Freshman year I ended with a 2.78 cumulative, which is terrible, I know.
I was having many personal issues during this time.

At the beginning of sophomore year (where I am now), I really made school my number one priority. First quarter I got a 3.5, and second quarter I'm almost sure I'll be getting a 3.6. I have been working really hard.

My grades will only be getting better!

My extra curriculars are pretty good so far:
Class treasurer in 9th and 10th grade
Member of award winning Yearbook
Part of school TV station
Over 200 hours of community service
organizer of Alzheimers walk in my area
Member of Key Club
and
A part-time job (about 18 hours a week) for the past year.

I haven't taken my SAT/ACT yet, so I can't tell you about that!

I am a great writer, so my college essay would probably be a strong point in my application when the time comes.

Sorry for writing so much, I just want to know if theres any chance in the world for me to be considered at NYU by the time my senior year rolls around!
