Don't know where to start!

<p>I'm currently a cc student enrolled math,bio and ochem & with personal statements to write on the side, it's stressing. I'm having a hard time starting it. I've always wanted to talk about how my parents divorce affected my life but i don't know where to start. I know not to base the whole essay on the divorce but can i start off by saying i am who i am now because of the divorce? </p>

<p>Also would a normal job that has nothing to do with my major be something good to mention in my essay? i also played tennis back in highschool but thats all i can think of when it comes to talent. What else can i say? & i'm having a hard time sticking one or two topics</p>

<p>That divorce thing can work as a hook, so choose it. Don’t start the way you mentioned above. That line actually fits in the conclusion part.</p>

<p>Don’t stress on writing your best essay in your first attempt. Instead of just thinking, write down your ideas and you can organize them later.</p>
