Dorm Recommendations

<p>I've been looking at dorms lately and I'm having a lot of trouble trying to decide where to dorm. I'm going in as a CCS science major and have never been to a party in my life. But I do want to meet new people and try out new things but I would like to be generally surrounded by more intellectual people. I don't want to be with just science majors though and I don't want all intellectual people. I've been advise to not pick the CCS house in Manzanita because I'm going to meet the CCS people anyways. </p>

<p>So does anyone have any suggestions?</p>

2) Manzanita
3) Santa Rosa
4) Santa Cruz
5) San Nicholas
6) San Miguel
7) FT</p>

1) Anacapa Scholars floor
2) CCS House
3) Scholars House-Manzanita</p>

<p>College <em>might</em> be a bit hard for you then, haha.</p>

<p>Well i mean completely surrounded as long as there’s one person that’s similiar, i’m okay</p>

<p>I’m sure there’s at least one person similar to you in every single dorm.</p>

<p>well it is a slightly selective college, i’m pretty sure everyone’s intellectual to a certain level =P</p>

For dorm room partners, don’t they match you up with people similar to you?</p>

<p>Not guaranteed…if you take the survey you’ll see that it doesn’t have anything about your personality or things like that. There is probably a good chance you will get someone who will be different than you in some or many aspects</p>

<p>Still, filling out the survey provides a better chance that you will get someone similar to you than if all roommates were randomly assigned to each other</p>

I think most people would want someone similar to them, but not an exact clone, hah</p>
