<p>Has anyone gotten the third packet yet about dorms/roomates? I live in upstate New York and haven't gotten it yet...and I know they are supposed to arrive late July but according to the website they were already sent July 14th...let me know thanks!</p>
<p>i haven't gotten mine either (in north carolina). last night i went to a reception for freshmen from my area and some people there hadn't gotten the packet, while others had. someone told me that you could call the school and find out.</p>
<p>I actually called yesterday to ask when the remainder of the packets would be sent. They told me they were all mailed on Wednesday evening so you should get it soon. I know it's nerve racking not knowing which dorm and who your roommate is when it is so close to orientation - it would be nice to get to know your roommate.</p>
<p>Apparently they had an error when listing phone numbers for the roomates (which was in that email they sent us). When they realized this error, they still had time to keep some of the packets from being sent. Your packets were probably some of the ones they stopped, but you should get one soon.</p>
<p>thanks you guys...i know i'm being a little impatient but it would be nice to know a little bit about the dorm i will be living in especially so i know what i can/can't pack...also i am of course still very curious about whoever my roomate will be! i guess i'll just have to keep waiting</p>

<p>i got my room assignment today in the mail...yayyy! but the space where it says roomate/phone number is blank? does anyone else have this problem...does this mean i don't have one?</p>

<p>I'm Luter B207...sweet. A shared bathroom with the next room (no communal bathroom!) and it's right next to the stairs, so I suppose we only have to worry about people possibly being loud on one side of us. The only thing that would make it better would be if it was on the first floor, but oh well...</p>

<p>Awesome! See you in a few weeks! Man, what were the chances of that happening though? There's only a handful of Wake kids on here, and two of them end up right across the hall from each other. :)</p>
<p>mg, I think about everyone's gotten theirs by now - yours may have been one of the ones that was stopped from being mailed because of the computer glitch, but I would think you would have gotten it by now because you're not that far away. If you don't see it in the next day or two, I'd call.</p>

<p>You can call and ask them to give you the dorm and room mate info. We did because my D has not rec'd the packet either.</p>
