<p>Im gonna request to live on Livingston Quads (i heard theyre standard for freshmen) but does anyone know how big the rooms are? Can i loft my bed? And are there any other freshman dorms that are popular? thanks!!</p>
If you went on a tour they showed a model of the rooms that are standard for undergrad fresmen.
Two twin extra long beds, two desks, and two small closets. The room isn’t very big, but manageable. They will most likely not allow you to bring a bed, since there is one in the room for you to use already. In addition, your bed may be too large, and since you’ll be sharing a room with another student, it could be an issue.
Hope that I helped, all the info I have is just from going on a visit and seeing the model room. 
I currently live in the Quads and I love them so great choice! I don’t remember if you get to choose or not but Quad 2>1>3 in my opinion. The rooms are not particularly big (unless you get lucky and get a corner room) but I’ve never had a problem with fitting everything I’ve needed to fit. Depending on the quad, your bed may already be lofted so I would hold off on bed risers for now but if not, you can use them. As for other freshman dorms, the Towers are also popular on Livi. Better location and elevators but much less of a communal feel in my experience. I would stay away from Busch. College Ave is solid, although the dining hall is terrible there. You can’t go wrong with Cook Douglass but Livingston Quads are the best in my opinion
