Dorming

Do any current students have any tips about what to bring during zero week? Anything you wish you'd brought? I know about the obvious bedding, toiletries, etc. but is there anything else that is an absolute necessity? I'd rather find out sooner than later (:

The only thing I really noticed a lot of people seemed to forget was nice clothes, especially if you’re planning on rushing. Lots of parents had to come back a couple days later with dresses, heels, etc. Also, bring some room decorations and posters! You can always get them once you’re here, but it’s easier to just bring some with you so your little bitty dorm won’t look too depressing.

Can I ask what zero week is?
Sorry XD

Zero week is basically Welcome Week. It is the few days before classes officially kick off and there are tons of events going on around campus.

Hey, does finaid cover university apartments?

Seriously the best week of the school year, where you can go crazy *****faced and have amazing fun w/out worrying about ANYTHING.

Man I’m so taking advantage of zero week next school year. The first year in me didn’t know how to appreciate it.
