Which freshmen dorms [traditional style] are the best. I'm leaning toward East Campus but I would like to get everyone's ideas.

East Campus
- Closer to freshman classes
- More freshman live on this side of campus
- Closer to fraternities (which will be important if you pledge)
- Closer to MARTA

West Campus
- Closer to SAC (pool, gym, intramural fields)
- Better food (at least when I was there)
- Co-Ed dorms (at least when I was there)

Once you pick a side of campus, generally the freshman dorms are all of the same quality.

Isn’t East Campus also right next to the football stadium?

Yes, but that’s not really much of an advantage. There are only 6 home games a year, and it’s not that big of a deal to walk over from west campus, especially if you’re in a fraternity and tailgating at the house.

Do you have any specific residence halls in mind?

It might help if you PM Burdell with your quetions. He is probably top informant for GT on this forum. He has been there for a long time if I am correct.
