Dorms for an undergrad business student?

I have been accepted to the McCombs School of Business and am waiting on other offers from other college, but I figured I should really get the ball rolling on dorms since UT Austin has so many students.

So what on-campus dorms would be a good fit for me? I want somewhere close to the library and/or my classes. Also, what are some of the "better" dorms besides San Jacinto and Duren? I think it's too late for me to get into those, but I still want a dorm that is fairly new, close to my classes/library, and does not go by the name of Jester.

I'm also looking for a roommate so there's that.

Thanks for reading~

I’m a senior and I’m going to be a business major at McCombs next fall! I really wanted to be close to the PCL, gym, and the business school, as well as close to jester for food but not IN Jester, lol. I decided BRP was a good choice for me. Brackenridge-Roberts-Prather are 3 dorms that are smaller and very similar so are put in one division. I have heard they are more unique, cozy, quieter, and more home-oriented. Each dorm room is a bit different, but each one is supposed to have (2?) walk in closets supposedly. Also, it is near Jester so you can get food over there, and it is near the PCL and the gym as well. I found my roommate through the UT18 fb page because we both wanted to stay in BRP, but I hope you find a roommate if you end up choosing UT! Hope this helped some  Also, i don’t think BRP is under high demand so I would say you probably have a good chance of getting in.
