<p>So my sister and I will both be going to college in SB; however, one of us will be going to UCSB and the other to SBCC first but we still wish to dorm together. Is it possible for us to do so at the dorms? If not, what apartments do you recommend we stay at? Thanks in advance for your help.</p>
<p>Not at the dorms, but possibly at Tropicana Gardens, a private ‘dorm’ that primarily takes SBCC students but sometimes takes UCSB students when they don’t have room in other IV apartment/dorms for UCSB students. The downside for the one going to UCSB is they will easier make friends with SBCC students than with UCSB students since most there will be from SBCC.</p>
<p>which dorms are both genders for each floor and alternating floors? if they are not on alternating floors then is 1 house males and the other house females?</p>
<p>In some I know it is one wing female one wing male (the shorties, at least). The others I don’t know, however. </p>
<p>San Nic has a female floor. I think the remainder are males on one hall and females on the other on each floor. I think it houses approximately 400 students.</p>
