Hello, i am now considering going to sbcc. I was wondering about if the two residence halls guarantee students housing. And which one is better, the pros and cons of each would be great.

I thought SBCC didn't have any resident halls, its a CC after all.
Are you maybe talking about UCSB???

Most students (both ucsb and sbcc) live in Isla Vista in off campus housing.
Check Craigslist for housing options.

When my sister was at sbcc she lived in Isla Vista, but that might have only been an option for her because she was roommates with my other sister, who was going to UCSB. I second the Craigslist suggestion, as well as calling SBCC to see if you can live on UCSB campus.

There are 2 private residence halls in Isla Vista (where UCSB is situated) that offer housing to SBCC students. My suggestion to the OP is take a road trip, talk to some kids and the staff at each.

good idea, but does anybody know if it is hard to find housing if you go to sbcc?

no for the dorms just apply early and have the $ and you will probably get it. as for the apartments i dont know
