Texas A&M College Station. I found several townhomes/apartments that are much cheaper than dorms. Also, I am pescatarian for the meal plan would suck for me in dorms. I will be a transfer and a sophomore once school starts fall 2018. I plan to join a sorority and at least two clubs. I really would like the “college experience” but crave privacy. The off campus housings will be about 10 minutes away from campus. How bad is the parking? I plan to buy a parking pass if it is that worth it. I just would hate to have to drive back and forth for club meetings and would also like to make friends. Please tell me your experience/ what you have heard. Thank you.
Parking is bad idea, please look for any housing near free student bus route. Most student buys night parking for conveniences. http://transport.tamu.edu/BusRoutes/Routes.aspx?r=OffCampus
You don’t need meal plan, I would just purchase cash option around $400.
Gig’Em.
@texaggie Thank you!
