Double and quad room's rate are the same in MSU

I was assigned to be in a quad room in the Brody (Armstrong), and I wrote an e-mail to ask if the rates for double room and quad room is different, the school told me it's the same. But how can it be the same when it's obviously different! Plus, they don't have any informations about quad room on the website and even when we're choosing our preference, it only shows up "double+some meal" or "single+some meal" but nothing about "quad+meal". They don't have a floor plan (Brody - West Circle - Red Cedar Floor Plan | Campus Living Services) for quad room either! Quad room's information only shows up in the buiding floor plan. I would like to know what quad room is like and how can I file a complaint that they have the same rates for double and quad room? I don't think it's right to have students who live in quad room to pay for the double room price. And it's four people in the room, not two people in a quad room. Again, how can they not say anything about quad room in the preference page and anything about the rates!

The reason it’s probably the same is because each of you would have the same amount of space as one person would have in a double, which would make the room twice as big. It’s the same reason some schools charge a lot more for a single room; you pay for two spaces.

Yes, the space is bigger, but also less privacy. And even Room designed for one person is D.R. rate + $820. If single room is D.R. rate+820, double room is D.R. rate, shouldn’t quad room be less expensive?

just a memo a Double room as a single (Double room rate +) is D.R. rate + $1,336
