I was assigned to be in a quad room in the Brody (Armstrong), and I wrote an e-mail to ask if the rates for double room and quad room is different, the school told me it's the same. But how can it be the same when it's obviously different! Plus, they don't have any informations about quad room on the website and even when we're choosing our preference, it only shows up "double+some meal" or "single+some meal" but nothing about "quad+meal". They don't have a floor plan (Brody - West Circle - Red Cedar Floor Plan | Campus Living Services) for quad room either! Quad room's information only shows up in the buiding floor plan. I would like to know what quad room is like and how can I file a complaint that they have the same rates for double and quad room? I don't think it's right to have students who live in quad room to pay for the double room price. And it's four people in the room, not two people in a quad room. Again, how can they not say anything about quad room in the preference page and anything about the rates!

ew Michigan State

Don’t make new threads- just bump the one you made this morning.

ETA: There are only single and double rates. The only “quads” I know of are suites. Try talking to State since none of us can answer your question more than likely- there’s only about 4 of us on here that go to State and we’re the only ones who might even have a chance of answering and I, for one, know there are no quad rates unless they’re doing a discount for people that are in transitional housing.

Sorry about that. I’m new here and I was really confused about how to post stuff. But I’ve e-mail them about the problems already.

Try calling them perhaps. When did you email? It generally takes about 4-5 days to respond and they’re overwhelmed right now.

I e-mailed them on 8/12. I’ll try calling them. thanks!

I read that State underestimated their yield this year, could it be a forced quad?
