double major at kelley

I'm a direct admit and want to do a double major in finance and economic consulting at Kelley. Is it possible to do a double in these two? how many courses does it take to complete the 62 hour general education requirement? i'm afraid that the 62 hours may take up too much time to complete all the requirements for a double

Most courses are 3 credit hours so 21 courses. In theory you should be able to complete the general ed requirements in 2 years especially if you come in with any credits, ie AP or testing out of languages.

I think the minimum number of classes for Finance (in the business major, past the foundation courses) are eight--and for economic consulting is six--which means you have 14 courses there, plus one junior course requirement (Managing & Org in Business), plus one senior course (Business Career Planning and Placement), plus 14 units for I-Core. This means you need to take 62 units during the last two years, which is certainly possible, and is only the average number of units you'd take anyway.

The harder thing is this means you have to get all the general education courses and foundation courses done during your first two years--which may be a bit difficult unless you transfer some general ed courses in or take some during the summer.

ok. i have AP credit for Macroecon, Microecon, English, US History, Polisci. i think it comes out to about 15-18 credits. i can hopefully test out of a lot of the foreign language cause i took 5 years of french.
thanks
