My question is - if I am admitted for economics at Caltech, is it possible to/how difficult is it to either transfer to or double major in computer science, since they are in separate academic divisions?

@daywave Caltech doesn’t admit by major. You talk about what majors interest you and why in the application, but don’t declare a major until the spring quarter of freshman year. Everyone takes pretty much the same classes freshman year, so even an Econ major takes 3 quarters of difficult math, 3 of physics, 2 of chemistry, and 1 of biology during freshman year.
