Double major in BC?

I got accepted into CSOM, finance major. Is it possible for me to double major in finance and math?

Yes, depending on how many courses you tested/AP’d out of. Finance consists of 4 courses and a math minor would probably be 6 courses.

I’ll have 9 ap credits when I graduate. (cal ab bc, phy b,c, micro macro eco, chem, stat, gov) how much would that help?

You could probably double concentrate and also major in math. It seem as if you already fulfilled seven core (including business core) requirements.

Dear pieceofcracker : It is very possible to double major and many, many students do just that. For graduation, BC requires you to complete 38 total courses on campus. Therefore, once you factor the core courses, there is more than enough room to complete the double.

My son is attending Boston College is dual majoring in chemistry and economics while also going through the honors curriculum. He had eleven advanced placement courses from high school which afforded him more flexibility in developing his program. A combination of CSOM/Finance and Mathematics is also very possible.
