Lately I’ve been thinking that I will be very unhappy if I only pursue a degree in business here at IU, but I don’t want to give up the usefulness of such a degree in the job market, so I don’t want to just drop and solo English. What’s the feasibility of pursuing both of these majors? I’ve already completed most gen ed requirements (language, nat/science and math) from dual credit and AP.
I don’t know whether this is possible or not, but if you’re going to major in business to get a job in business, you could definitely at least minor in English or take a bunch of English electives. From a job perspective, nobody would really care if you just took a bunch of English electives vs. actually majoring in English. So even if it turns out to be impossible to double major, you can still make something work.
