<p>I'm deeply interested in geography and ecology, and cannot decided whether to take one a major and the other as a minor - or take a double major (which might be too hectic.) Advice please.</p>

<p>Depends on how many classes you can handle in a term (I have known some brilliant people who simply could not deal with more than a certain number at once) and how flexible (or not) those programs are at your school. See if you can plan out a sample schedule for four years that would make the double major work at your school, and whether you can handle the class load that comes with it.</p>
<p>Also, be aware that some schools have minimum GPAs for double majors.</p>
