Hi everyone i was just accepted ED to tufts and was wondering if it is possible to major in my first choice (Q.econ) and add on CS?? Thanks!!

Congratulations!

Yes, and it is somewhat common, because CS research at Tufts focuses on applications within other disciplines and computers modeling is the mechanism used to test and make use of quantitative economic theories.

Since there is a lot of synergy between the two majors on the quantitative side, there is course overlap, which reduces the total course load.

Thanks so much @Mastadon !!

Any suggestions on what I should learn to have a good background in CS going into freshman year??
