Double Majoring

I have a couple questions about double majoring...

I was accepted to both SCS and CIT, and I intend to do a double major in CS and ECE. Firstly, will I get two degrees for these majors? Secondly, would I have to pay extra tution for this?

Yes. On your diploma it will say SCS primary major and ECE double major.

No!!! Of course not!! Kids have gotten 2-3 majors and a grad degree in 5 years without paying any extra at all (and financial aid/scholarships extend to 5 years).

hey thats awesome!!....i too was worrying about how much extra tuition i would have to pay to double major in CS....more good news :)

You will get two degrees if you do a dual degree in CS and ECE. I recently applied to just double major in CS and ECE, but CIT somehow accepted me a dual degree student... The ability for CS majors to double major in ECE was just introduced this year (so they told me), so I don't think it's very organized or popular yet.

If I was accepted only to CIT, is it possible to double major or minor in CS or in Tepper?

Yes. Administratively, double majoring here is easy.
