I was looking through the Williams website and I couldn't find any definitive evidence to the fact that you can double major in Economics & Mathematics, my projected college plan (always open to change though ofc). I just wanted to make sure that this was possible because I feel that it is. I was also curious if its very difficult to double major if I wanted to go on the year long Williams-Exeter Oxford Program. Thanks for the help.

I actually had the same question. I plan on majoring in Economics and Math or Economics and Computer Sci, im not sure yet. I know you CAN, but like you mentioned, if I wanted to study abroad for a semester or year, it may be harder to do.

I know a few people that have double majored in Math and Econ. Anyone who wants to double major AND go abroad has to plan their courses a bit more carefully to fit everything in, but it's not hard at all.

Of course, it's possible to double major, more so in Econ & Math. There were quite a few of those in this year's graduating class. It's not that hard to pursue your double major if you plan to study at Oxford. You only have to plan your classes well, speak to your advisors early on, and waste no time in fulfiling your various requirements. I'm sure there will be plenty of Econ and Math classes at Oxford that will count toward the Econ and Math majors.

Oxford would be very rich in math and economics offerings. After carefully planning your courses at Williams to make sure you could fit in what you needed, you'd probably need to check with your departments beforehand to make sure your British courses satisfied the Williams requirements you hoped they would. Departments have considerable flexibility in these areas.
