<p>Is the essay for the Common App supposed to be double-spaced or single-spaced?</p>
<p>The general rule is double spaced but some people with longer essays single space so it fits on one page.</p>
<p>My essay is 645 words, so it will only fit on one page if single-spaced. It’s a full two pages double-spaced.</p>
