Doubling up in high school

So I chose to take two math classes at once this year.
I'm taking both Geometry & Algebra 2.
I'm quite nervous about passing both classes, so I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice & tips on passing both classes.
Very much appreciated.
Thanks.

Geometry and alg 2 are actually super easy and I’m not that great at math. There are a lot of helpful youtube tutorials if you get stuck. They also aren’t connected that much so if you are bad at geometry, you could still do great in algebra.

I’m taking AP Calc and AP Stats next year. Don’t fret it, you’ll be fine.

You’ll be fine. I took three math classes my junior year: Algebra 2, PreCalc, and Trigonometry. Yeah, PreCalc and Trig are separate classes in my school coz I took them online, and thats even tougher. It was tough but it was okay. In your case, I think you’ll be fine. Those two subjects can be easy if you just listen and actually make sure that you know the concepts. Make sure you master Algebra 2 coz its about all the math you’ve learned from elementary put together. And you need it for PreCalc. For both your subjects, do NOT leave the room until you master the topic of the day. And lastly, do all your homework for both classes. I actually mostly learned from doing the homework. Good luck ! =)

I took Algebra 2 and Geometry as a Freshman and it was incredibly easy. Here or there, if you run into a concept that you do not understand, then I suggest using a website called Khan Academy. Khan Academy is actually better than any teacher you’ll ever find. I know you’ll be great, don’t worry!

I had a really bad background from middle school in Math and I ended up doing okay in those classes. They felt difficult in the moment, but in retrospect they weren’t as bad as I thought they were. My tips? If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed take a deep breath and take a step back, most of the stuff is quite simple, you just have to believe you can do it.

Do your homework and ask questions on areas where you are confused about.

I actually took both Algebra 2 and Geometry (both Honors) as a sophomore. It was relatively easy. I got an A in geometry and a B in Algebra 2. I suck at math, so If I can do it, you can do it.

^Guys, we have no idea what the OP’s school is like. Perhaps both of these classes are easy, or both are hard, or one is easy and one is hard, etc. We also have no idea how much this student can take on and not get super stressed.

Honestly, OP, talk to your parents, your guidance counselor, and anybody you know who has taken those courses concurrently at your school.

Good luck!
