Downward grade trend with increase in class difficulty?

I don't think 2 B+s will kill you. But the year isn't over- so work hard the rest of the year, and try to pull them up if you can.

Unlike a good number of my classmates, I worked very hard my freshman and sophomore years, receiving almost straight A+s these two years, though with only 2 AP classes. With the increase in difficulty my junior year, my GPA is going to fall a bit because of my 2 B+s. How will this affect me at some highly ranked schools if I remain at or near the top of my class (1 or 2)?

It won't hurt you.

What's with the posts being posted at the top?

lol yeah, that confused me a bit... but seriously, what's going on???

no idea whatsoever.....

Hellllpppppp

Answersssssssss neededddddddddddddd

(starts praying for divine intervention)

chill.

I'm the reverse. My grades have improved with harder classes. The harder the class, the better I do. And since I don't see the original post... And an occasional B isn't bad.

Nah, grades arent everything

any other thoughts?

Two B+ would affect you much, unless you begin receiving Cs and Ds, or too many Bs. If your grade fall too much then the admission committee will consider you not capable of handling harder classes.

I got 2 C’s and a D this semester, and you’re complaining about 2 B’s?

■■■

hahahahahahaahahahahaha

Rank is what matters most. Your rank tells colleges your school does not have rampant grade inflation and you’re still at the top with a couple of B’s.

At schools where lots of kids are still getting all A’s as courses get tougher, it would hurt at top colleges.

Oh man I have this one teacher Ms. Mama and she loves to give people F’s. I got a 99 though which raised my gpa to 8.0, even though she tried to give me an 89 once. After my 2nd anxiety-induced stroke though, she doesn’t mess with my grades any more! booya.

I went to a school in Ohio. We were relatively small, so I did not expect my teacher, Mr. Llama-Dor, (Funny name, huh? He is from Peru) to be so difficult. I failed that class, and I almost beat myself unconscious. I take grades very seriously, I think a B means you will barely make it to your local public colleges. Good Luck Puma, work even harder to get those grades into sexy A’s.

You know, it’s funny, you remind me of a student in MY AP English class… he’s rather neurotic and cares more about his flute than his poor girlfriend and he likes reading Russian literature, like Crime and Punishment (he’s TOTALLY into S&M, can you tell?). Anyway, he threatened to kill himself if I gave him a B, and I did, so I guess he can’t be you.
Peace.
