Downward Trend in Grades

How bad is it that my grades have dropped in my junior year (yes I know junior year is the most important year). Freshman and Sophomore years I got all A's. But this year, out of my 6 classes (excluding elective and gym), I'm only going to get 4 A's, 1 B+, and 1 B. Also I'm taking more APs and honors this year so maybe they will consider that too....so how much should I be worried here?

If the drop is because your course load is more rigorous, I’m sure you’ll be fine. Just try to keep them high your senior year!

Here’s me:
Sophomore year: 5 A’s, 1 A-, 1 B+
Junior year: 4 A-'s, 2 B+'s
It definitely hurt.

This is very typical, as courseload becomes harder grades often drop. At all but the top 25 schools or so, this will not be a big problem.

This happened to me as well, because my courseload became much more rigorous (and because I started working more hours). I did alright. Just don’t let it sink a lot.
