Downward Trends?

Is this a factor in admissions? I got straight As freshman year, then two Bs sophomore year, and now four Bs junior year, but this is because of the fact that I'm taking a lot harder classes (4 APs junior as opposed to 1 sophomore and 0 freshman) Will this be a problem in admissions

Upward trends are viewed positively, downward trends are viewed negatively because college admissions officers fear that the downward trend will continue in college, where the work is even harder, there's more freedom and less oversight.

How heavy is this weighted in admissions?

If your Bs were exclusively in APs and you were taking all APs offered by your school, I think it wouldn't be viewed too negatively, but it would depend on how selective your college targets are.

Ok thanks for the response. Yeah it was a big jump for me to move from 1 AP to 4.. probably should've lightened the load, but there are a lot of things I wish I could take back
