@Rolando ehh Today. If you become a political journalist you must choose a political party and stay partisan with it. That’s always the cool part about political journalism :):):).

So many people are saying “Top UG to IB to HF/VC”. One question… How do you know at all what this career entails? Oh wait, you probably don’t. Miss Determined must be right in her last point…

biomedical engineering, maybe?

Filmmaker
Opinionated Journalist

PRO DEBATER!!

My goal is to be a surgeon, but I haven’t decided on a specialty. Maybe peds or neuro. Maybe cardiothoracic. Who knows, at this point!

I want to own hotels, restaurants, and nightclubs all over the world… I love how different my idea is from everybody else :3

A doctor…but since I’m not a US citizen it’s near impossible for me to get into a med school here so there goes my dream :/

Minimum requirements: The concepts of Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Thermodynamic Theory, Kinematics, a tad bit of computer science, and courses in a specialized field.

Electrical Engineer. And what I’m learning in high school? I get to laugh at how much I’ll actually be needing. Just the things I love to do :)… And I can say “screw” the English teachers who get mad at me for not liking to read books / not normally read / take their class / not really care for what I’m learning in there.

Go to college for computer science and start my own company. Then I’d just go from there.

Or maybe enter finance as a quant.

There’s been an interesting variety on this thread. Practically speaking, I may become a physician (hopefully cardiology or dermatology). I love the flexibility in terms of location that medicine gives you and would certainly enjoy the fiscal benefits of the profession. I’ve also considered being a classicist/archaeologist, as I really enjoy classical culture and mythology. But I don’t really feel committed to anything yet. I don’t think high school students should have their whole lives planned.

Lawyer (International Law; Entertainment Law (film and tv))
Politician (Senator then Secretary of State!!!)
Diplomat/Foreign Service Officers/Ambassador (At least 10 yrs abroad then under secretary to a foreign region then Secretary of State!!!)

A boy can dream right? :/

logicx: I know a quant! Really nice and totally not like the stereotype. We play basketball after school and he helps with my math homework.
When I was little I really wanted to be an archaeologist, but my parents didn’t think it was the most amazing idea for various reasons. Now (I know I’ve posted on here before but I’ve refined it) my dream (moneymaking) realistic career would be a psychiatrist (if I survived med school without fainting from the blood) or psychologist, in either case specializing in young children, and to double major in early childhood education and work as a preschool teacher or assistant while I work on my PhD/MD (though probably not MD, because I’ve never heard of anyone who had time to work in med school). I’d also minor in history.
