I have recently been accepted into Drexel’s Lebow School of Business and I am from NJ. However, I got a scholarship foe $33,900 so I would be paying only about $35,000. I also applied to Rutgers Business School, Rutgers SEBS, and Rutgers SAS at the New Brunswick campus. I was waitlisted RBS, but accepted into SEBS and SAS. In 2018, only .49% of the people got off of the waiting list and into RBS. I don’t know whether I should commit to Lebow or go to Rutgers SAS or SEBS and transfer (even though it is highly competitive, and I don’t trust myself to do well enough to transfer). In terms of my future and beoing recognized by future jobs and companies, what should I do?
How much would Rutgers cost per year?
Instate at 14000 is cheaper… you can alway transfer to the business school. Both will need on campus housing? Look at Drexel I’d expect the 35k includes housing cost
RBS may not be easy to transfer into , so I would definitely check that out before selecting one of the other schools within Rutgers. I have known decent students unable to transfer into RBS and then transferred to Rutgers Newark business school.
What GPA would you need to keep the Drexel scholarship? Do you have any other instate options?
Per year, Rutgers would cost me about $31k. @Dolemite
The GPA I need to maintain my scholarship at Drexel is 2.75.
Money isn’t the biggest problem right now, it is just more important for me to attend a school that will benefit me more in the future, and I am having trouble comparing them to each other in terms of future success. I know that how successful I end up becoming after going to a school depends on me, but I don’t know which to pick.
