<p>Just got this from Midatlantic parents assn.:</p>

<p>Sorry for the short notice, but this is a "work in progress":</p>

<p>Per the USMMA Chief Information Officer, Mr. Howard Weiner, in lieu
of the Indoc parade that was cancelled today due to inclement
weather , a drill team competition between in Companies of the Class
of 2010 will occur tomorrow, Saturday 22 July 2006 at 1300
EDT . Mr. Weiner's team plans to broadcast the competition via
video from a link on the USMMA web site, from here:

page to get to the live video.</p>

<p>The wording, which could not be changed will still indicate that
the parade is on Friday , vs. the competition on Saturday.</p>

<p>Keep your fingers crossed for better weather on Saturday.</p>

<p>JRH, video link was cool. It was nice to hear the concern from a live person and to see USMMA field real time (looked pretty wet). They're obviously trying, but can't control the weather.
How did you know the correct link to use?</p>

<p>The link on the parents page contains some "extras". It looks like it was a "cut and paste" from an email (the OWA in there means "Outlook Web Access"), so that's why it was asking for a user name and password. Keep the link above as a favorite - they'll probably use the same one on Monday.</p>

<p>On Saturday when they cancelled the 2nd webcast, they said they would try to do something today and webcast it. Has anyone heard anything? The weather actually looks nice there, so we were hoping to see something!</p>

<p>I was hoping to see a live broadcast myself but my son told me during his Sunday call that they had the competition indoors on Saturday. Hopefully the administration will feel the "owe" us :-)</p>
